Join the TNDP and Katherine Archuleta on Jan. 21 to help us build a plan to better engage and empower our state's growing Latino community.
We are particularly thrilled to hear the thoughts of our keynote speaker Katherine Archuleta. She serves as the National Political Director of Obama for America, the first Latino to hold the post in a presidential campaign. She joined President Obama’s re-election campaign after serving as Chief of Staff to Labor Secretary Hilda Solis. As a staffer for Denver’s first Hispanic Mayor, Archuleta played a key role in bringing the 2008 Democratic National Convention to Colorado.
The event will open a dialogue between the Latino community and elected officials about issues of concern, and then put together a plan of action moving forward to organize and politically empower Latinos in Tennessee.
