Door-to-Door for Health Care Reform

Health care reform legislation is moving through the U.S. Congress. You can help this important legislation pass. We are going door-to-door and urging people to call and thank Representative Cooper for pledging to support health care reform including a public option. We will also be asking people to sign a declaration supporting President Obama's three principles for health care reform. We'll meet at the Church Street Park across from the downtown library at 9:30 am Saturday July 25th. Then we will team up and go door-to-door in neighborhoods that will be overwhelming sympathetic to our cause. If you have never canvassed before you're in for a fun time.
