East Tennessee Truman Day Celebration

To All East Tennessee Democrats,

The Knox County Democratic Party is proud to announce the date for our Annual Truman Day Celebration to be held on Thursday, August 6,2009 6:30pm at the Knoxville Zoo.

This year’s celebration will be one of the most exciting Truman Days in recent memory. The event will begin at 6:30 with an open reception featuring the gubernatorial candidates, Paula Flowers, Chairman Forrester and many more Democratic Party officials. Guest will be treated to heavy hour devours, cash bar and live music throughout the night, plus an appearance by Einstein the Bird, who was recently featured on the Today Show and Jay Leno.

Tickets for this event are just $35. Additionally, if your party is interested in sponsoring a banner, handing out paraphernalia or collecting personal information, you can sponsor an information table at the facility entrance for $25. Candidate information tables are available for $125, as well as Company Sponsorships, which are $100, $250 and $500.
