MUSTER ON THE MOUNT: THE BATTLE BEGINS

The Democrats of the East consisting of Washington, Sullivan, Carter, Unicoi, Johnson, Hawkins and Greene County Democratic Parties are please to announce a significant regional political rally for the kick-off to the 2010 Tennessee Elections.

The event will provide the people of NE Tennessee with the opportunity to hear all Democratic Gubernatorial Candidates (Ward Cammick, Roy Herron, Kim McMillan and Mike McWherter). Eddie Yokely, Representative of House District 11 and Nathan Vaughn, former Representative of House District 2 will also be speaking. Other special quest will be present.

The event will include a traditional Tennessee picnic catered by Dixie Barbeque. Live music will also be provided. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Each county party will have party tents where deserts, crafts and Democratic items will be sold.

Adult tickets are $12.50 and tickets for children under age 12 is $8.00. Tickets are be purchased from County Democratic Parties or through the Democratic Resource Center:

Food will be collected for Second Harvest Food Bank. A prize will be alloted to one lucky donor. Help us help those in need.
