Is the current debate on health care reform making you dizzy?
Can't make sense of all the options that have been proposed?
Then join us for an evening of enlightenment as we try to make heads or tails of what the politicians & pundits are arguing about.
"Sick Around the World" is a PBS Frontline documentary about 5 democratic nations with capitalist economies (Switzerland, United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, & Taiwan). Each country tackled health care reform in their own way & each provide health care for all citizens within their borders.
"Sick Around the World" explores both the good and the bad of each system in each of these countries and asks the question, "Can we learn something from these countries about how to run an efficient & sustainable health care system here in the U.S.?"
The film is exactly an hour in length & after there will be a short discussion about the ideas presented in the film.
Snacks & drinks will be provided! Bring as many people as you'd like!
