Event Description

On November 5, 1872, 139 years ago, 48 years before the 19th Amendment gave women the right to vote, women’s rights activist Susan B. Anthony and a group of women in Rochester, N.Y., cast votes in the presidential election. In her honor, there will be a Voter Registration Kick-off Drive on November 5 at the Jackson Farmers' Market from 8:00 am to Noon.
