Tennessee Federation of Democratic Women 54th Annual Convention

                            ~Call to Convention~ 

I, Sonja Fox, President of the Tennessee Federation of Democratic Women, pursuant to Article VI, Section 5 and Article VII, Section 1, giving me the authority to do so, issue the 54th Annual Call to Convention.

The Theme for this year's convention is RETURN JOY, which is what a group of hardworking women plan to see happen in the experiences you participate in this year.

Starting with the Thursday night trip for Story telling to Jonesborough, Tennessee's oldest town. A  Bus will leave the Holiday Inn at 5:30 PM and go back in time to a night to remember with stories and dining. (wear walking shoes)

Registration starts at 8:00 AM Friday morning with the afternoon business starting at 1:00 PM and will include a showing of Parliamentary Procedure with a Twist.  There will be some free time here that several of you have requested.

Friday night will be the TENNESSEE GOT TALENT CONTEST, where we need all your talent.  Prizes will be given and some fun for afterwards. (Remember the Theme is Return Joy)

Saturday's meeting will start at 8:00 AM and includes the Jean Livingston Memorial Service which has been separate in past years.

Regular Business Meeting will start thereafter and lunch with a special speaker. *(members) Door prizes are needed.

There will be an unforgettable speaker for the banquet and as always we will enjoy the Parade of Stars.  There will be a live and silent auction, *(members) so bring items to be sold. 

The new Officers will be installed and dancing afterwards ......your style.
