Williamson County Democratic Party Potluck Dinner with Special Guests: Jennifer Buck Wallace and Kathy Chambers

Jennifer - is the new director of operations for the TNDP. Originally from East Tennessee, she received a B.A. from Maryville College in Political Science with a double minor in History and Business. Jennifer received a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee's College of Law. Jennifer served as Director for the middle TN Obama for President campaign and has continued in local activism as co-founder of Nashville Community Organizers (NCO), Organizers for America (OFA) and as of today - Director of Operations, Tennessee Democratic Party. Congratulations Jennifer!

Kathy - received a Bachelors Degree in Religion from Radford University, Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt Divinity School, is currently a PhD Candidate in New Testament at Vanderbilt University's Graduate Dept. of Religion, an adjunct faculty member at Belmont University in the School of Religion, and was a volunteer Field Organizer for the Tennessee Obama Campaign. During the campaign, she assisted in organizing multiple voter registration drives and was in charge of sending Middle TN volunteers to the battleground state of IN (specifically, Evansville, which turned Blue election night!). Co-founded Nashville Community Organizers (NCO) with Jennifer Wallace, and was one of the field organizers and volunteer leaders of the Against English Only Campaign. Now a full-time volunteer with the TNDP and a member of the Organizing for America National Advisory Training Committee, and informal group that assists with creating the training materials for the OFA staff and volunteers.
