I think Mr. Bredesen should run for the U.S. Senate. He has good business sense that the whole nation could benefit from. He understands that you can't spend our way out of a finical crisis. America needs to understand the pay as you go type of spending practice. Budgets passed under Governor Bredesen’s administration reflected this philosophy. As our Governor, he kept this state running smoothly under the worst economic down fall in many decades. I think he did a wonderful job as the Mayor of Nashville and a better job as the Governor of the Great State of Tennessee. The nation needs Phil!!!!

I do believe at some point he will, but not yet. He wants to enjoy the private sector a bit first.

I have been hoping for years that Governor Bredesen would run and serve as our Senator.   What does he say?  Yes, Dixie, sounds like a winner!

I really wish Bredsen woud run,  just not sure he will even consider the possibility...However we need somone in the Governors office too.  I would take Bredesen over anyone for either office....

Thrilled to join this group.  I hope he runs. I've posted this on my facebook page and on the Greater Chattanooga Democratic Women's Page. Getting good reviews from even Republicans. Run, Phil, Run.
