I Get The Message
I get the message. Hundreds of you have told me that until I get a better job or any job or until my business improves I can't buy anything but the bare necessities. Without a vibrant local economy we will struggle to maintain basic services at the state and local level for years to come. That is the challenge that has faced the state legislature for the past two years. Although some members have tried to meet this challenge head-on, most have been content to let the Federal Government handle it , while continuing to collect their tax-free per diems for attending "other" important meetings. What meetings are more important than a person having a decent paying job? What meetings are more important than a small business owner keeping the doors open? Your answer is none, and I agree. I get the message.
To take this message to Nashville I need your vote in November. I also need you to help me to convince 3 of your friends or relatives to vote for me and for each of them to help me to convince 3 more. It is a tall task that can only be achieved one friend at a time. thanks,David
