I am a retired physician, mother of two adult sons, grandmother of three. I have been a consitituent of District 3 for 37 years, beginning in Anderson County in 1970s, under Rep Marilyn Lloyd, then under Rep. Wamp and now Rep Fleischmann. Current proposed redistricting keeps Union Co., my current residence in Union Co as part of U.S. Congressional District 3. Hamilton & Anderson are the largest counties of the District but there remains a significant population of rural voters in District 3. I think my concerns for the middle class, their health, wealth and opportunity will resonate in the urban and rural counties of District 3. Reforms to Campaign Financing, Economy, Jobs and the Environment top my long list of concerns. - Mary M. Headrick MD
