When Republicans say that you don't need health insurance in this county...

That if you have an emergency, you will get the care you need...

That every hospital is required to treat every ER patient equally...

Remind them that merely lacking health insurance makes you twice as likely to die in an ER:

We all know we need some form of health care reform, but I don't agree with our Democratic Party representatives in Washington. For instance, the per person monthly Medicare insurance premium will be increased from the 2009 premium of $96.40 to $104.20 in 2010, and to $120.20 for the year 2011. That is an increase of roughly 25% in two years.

More importantly, I don’t understand anyone supporting what they think is the current National Health Care. This has been going on for nearly a year, and our Democratic Party representatives in Washington can’t even agree on it up till now. As such, how can you have an option or even support it when it hasn't been fully debated or finalized?

In short, how do you expect our representatives in Washington to run National Health Care? Especially, when they didn’t include themselves within the Health Care Bill, and have been incompetent in stopping past corruption and etc.
The sad truth is Republicans DON'T care...They don't care if health care is passed, they do care that it might cost some money. They DON"T care about women or kids. AND THEY DON'T care about GRANDMAS and GRANDPAS they want to use them to further their own gain they instilling FEAR in them. But as far as care goes, THEY SIMPLY DO NOT CARE......
You forgot to mention from the following. . .

The researchers couldn't pin down the reasons behind the differences they found. The uninsured might experience more delays being transferred from hospital to hospital. Or they might get different care. Or they could have more trouble communicating with doctors.

The hospitals that treat them also could have fewer resources.

"Those hospitals tend to be financially strapped, not have the same level of staffing, not have the same level of surgeons and testing and equipment," Gawande said. "That also is likely a major contributor."
45,000 Americans die every year from lack of health coverage. That's about one American every 9 seconds, who will die right now, 24/7, for lack of health coverage.

This non-political, Harvard-reported scientific study made this conclusion. That equals 45,000 Americans who die each year from lack of Health Coverage. Read the study. No rhetoric, no politics, just science and facts. If you're interested, read the study. It was published by the American Journal for Public Health. They are not a political organization.

If you've not gone to this site and read the study, please don't bother replying or commenting on my particular post, because I really don't care about nutty demagoguery or any other discussion. I'm only interested in comments from people who've actually read the entire study as I have, not read a right or even left wing commentary about it, but actually read it themselves.

Thanks.
