Democratic Party banned on Jerry Falwell's Liberty University Campus
Liberty University has announced that it will no longer recognize its student-run Democratic club. The university, founded by televangelist Rev. Jerry Falwell, states that officials “are unable to lend support to a club whose parent organization stands against the moral principles held by” the university. Liberty’s College Democrats have been barred from using the university’s name, holding campus meetings, or advertising events. Liberty’s Vice President of Student Affairs claims “we are in no way attempting to stifle free speech.” Liberty’s College Democrats were recognized with the “Virginia Area Young Democrats Up-and-Coming Chapter of the Year” award in April.

That Liberty University would do such a thing does not surprise me. This action is a direct assault against the Democratic Party, nothing more, nothing less.
I wonder if Female students that vote are being asked to leave since that right was gained through the "principles" of the Democratic Party? I wonder if persons of color attending/working at Liberty University will be asked to leave since the Civil Rights Act was made into law under A Democratic Party President? I wonder if they are going to check all Laws that enable them to even exist to ensure that no Democratic Party principles were involved? I wonder if all faulty and students enjoying privileges such as Medicare, or Medicaid that were championed by the Democratic Party are being asked to leave as well? I wonder if those who believe in the Death penalty are being subjected to his type of nonsense?
While I am aware that students who are Democrats are not being asked to leave Liberty University, by taking this action, Liberty is surely "inviting" them to do so.
This is just more of the same old tired anti-American Democratic Democracy smoke and mirrors rhetoric of the extremist right wing being used to further the racist/separatist agenda of the extremist faction of the Republican Party. As an American Citizen, I am outraged. -

The "liberty" in Liberty University is limited to what advances the ignorance of Jerry Falwell and his blind sheep. That's OK, the evangelical, conservative, Republiban only dig themselves deeper into the valley of death. The Conservative hay day is over and teaching and enforcing pure ignorance is soooo passe'.
It's time to wring an intellectual towel and snap it right in the middle of the GOP ass! -
