I work in Dickson County and know the folks of whom Art speaks. They are great folks.
If people would adhere to the teachings of Jesus, they would comprehend that His way is the Democratic Party way--helping the "least of these" and respecting all Humankind!

Just saw the comments and we are down in Dickson County.

I am the outreach minister of our church, the head of our county party, our state rep and his wife a state committee woman and childrens ministers are Dems (and more).

Our youth minister, preschool director and our church secretary are Republicans. We also have a republican state committee man.

We have a strewardship type theology, (see the TN Creed group) there are very few problems. We are Dickson 1st United Methodist Church.

Ben, Thank you for your questions. I am a deacon at Colonial Heights Christian Church and a great deal of Democrats attend our church. I am in the Food Ministry and Children's Ministry, we have an average attendance of 700. The food ministry Director is a Democrat and co-Director is Republican, this shows that god is above political parties.
