Reorganization April 9!!

The PCDP will be having it's Reorganization Convention on Saturday April 9 at the Putnam County Democratic Party - 111 N. Cedar Ave. in Cookeville.

The doors open at 11 AM and will lock at 12 Noon for the convention. You must either be inside or in line (if there is one) by 12 noon. Please do everything you can to come early!  We'll be serving coffee and donuts beginning at 9 AM. (As well as rearranging furntiure for the convention.)

Everyone that's a Democrat and registered to vote in Putnam County is invited to attend!! The Credentials Committee is requiring a government issue photo ID and your voter registration card.

Everyone participating must sign an affidavit declaring that they are a bona fide Democrat.

We will be electing our Executive Committee for the 2011-2013 term. Being on the Executive-Committee is a GREAT way to participate, and help grow the Party in your own district. We encourage everyone to come and get involved!

Officers for the Party will also be elected, and the bylaws must be aopted for the new term.

The current PCDP officers have endorsed the following slate of candidates for the 2011-2013 term:

Secretary: A.D. Maynard

Treasurer: Sharon Chowdhuri

Nominations will be taken on the floor of the meeting, and the Executive Committee will vote on each position.
