Who has noticed the new billboard on I-40 at the Jefferson Street exit west bound
When I heard Republicans wanted to kick Grant off the Fifty Dollar BillI and replace him with Ronald Reagan I wondered what next...Well I was suporised to see this Dude in a Cowboy hat looking down from that billboard...The word on the sign said "WE MISS YOU TOO" Now I would like ot kick Reagan off that billboard....

Grant was the Union General most responisble for the defeat of the Confederate forces. He was the fighting General that Lincoln was looking for. The Nation owes a continuing debt of gratitude to his leadership. To take him off the Fifty and put Regan on would be a slap in the face to his memory and an honor Reagan hasn't earned. Regan began the disasterious policies that led the country to the deepest finincial crisis since the Great Depression. It was Reagan that said "the Govt. is not the soultion to our problems, it is the problem". He said if we get the Govt. out of the way private interprise will take care of all our problems. We have been on a deregulation frenzy for the last 30 years and it has been a disaster.

Reagan worshipers have went a log way to change this from the U. S. of America to Corporate America. Everytime I hear the phrase...drown Gov. in the bath tub I want to scream...Republicans think less gov. the better I wonder what they think aabout, no police depts, no emerency response teams, all the things we take for granted, who would they put in charge, the bankers or Wall Street? Who are they kidding with their free market ideas...it is all to make the rich even more rich.
