"And as someone once said of proclaiming the Gospel, 'Preach the Good News--use words if you must.' "

The actual quote is: "Preach -- use words if necessary." - St. Francis of Assisi

Representatives from 3 local hospitals will be part of "Prescriptions for Change" which will feature a 7 member panel of health care providers and advocates who will speak of their concerns about health care reform and take questions from the audience. Those in attendance will also be given the opportunity to let their voices be heard all the way to Washington with individual and group sign ups and opinion forms available. And yes there will be cake/coffee /tea & lemonade too! The event starts at 10a.m. Saturday July 25th at Tullahoma Business Center on Wilson Ave. across from Crockett's. From Manchester go to 2nd lite and turn right on Jackson. Go to Walgreens and turn left on Wilson. Center is on right.

God and I love everyone! We are embarking on a campaign for the purpose of making Tennessee a safe, happy and prosperous place to live. As an Independent with certain views on certain issues, it will be necessary to show respect for my competitors -- Democrats and Republicans. Communication between us, politicians and citizens, should always be focused on mutual interests that surpass personal aspirations. May the best person be elected to serve the wonderful people of our great state!

Senator Herron gave an incredible message at the Prayer Breakfast at the TNDP Summit last weekend. He's really got "it" - the ability to relate to both rural and urban, religious and non. Thanks, Senator Herron, for your efforts to bring the state together!

I am very interested in Senator Herron's campaign, and will continue to look at it in the coming months. I do want more candidates to announce before I pledge my support to any one person. However, I am very interested in what he has to say!

I helped with Governor Bredesens campaign and am convence he was, because he pushed for votes in East Tennessee. I pray Herron does the same. If he don't I fear he will loose. I know this is a Republican Area but Democrates need to fight here, it's NOT IMPOSSIBLE to win the area.
