Loved King Corn! I'm waiting right now to get The Future of Food from Netflix but it has been on "Very Long Wait" status for some time now.

Hmmm.. a book & film club (or at least a discussion thread of recommendations is not a bad idea...

Happy Earth Day, Everyone. Can't wait to see this movie. A couple of my friends have grown kids who are organic farmers, they are doing very well. Like this film states, they sell out all the time. A 14 year old from Dalton supplies eggs to our local Green Life, I always buy his eggs even though they are a bit more expensive because I know he loves his chickens and they are well taken tended to, and, it wasn't trucked in from a thousand miles away from here.

Signal Mountain just passed the a chicken ordinance so people can have a couple of hens in their backyard. I like the idea; however, I have 5 dogs so cannot have chickens myself.
