2009 Summit

The 2009 TNDP Summit will be held on May 2-3 at Jim Oliver’s Smokehouse in Monteagle, TN.

Take advantage of a dynamic program designed to educate and inform Democrats on current issues. Saturday's Agenda includes panel discussions featuring Legislators and leaders on Messaging for Tennessee Democrats, Gubernatorial Candidates, and strategies for Moving Forward Toward 2010. There are also breakout sessions on VAN Training, Fundraising 101/FEC, New Media Outreach, Using Social Networks, Candidate Recruitment, Grassroots Organizing, Youth Outreach and other topics. Meetings of the Executive Committee and County Chairs will take place on Saturday afternoon. A "BBQ-Bluegrass-Bonfire" will offer an opportunity to socialize with each other and hear from Tennessee's strongest Dems. The Sunday Prayer Breakfast will be led by ordained ministers who serve in the Legislature, and national leaders from Organizing for America will join us for Sunday's lunch. A $25 Registration fee covers Lunch & Dinner on Saturday and Breakfast & Lunch on Sunday. Scholarships will be granted based on need.
