Welcome to TNDP.org - the Official Community for Tennessee's Democrats.

Just like our Democratic Party, this website is driven by the people. Our vision is to see this website helping you, its members, connect and organize around common values.

Let's clarify a couple of ground rules here:

1. No official positions
2. Disagree without being disagreeable
3. User Identities

1. The Tennessee Democratic Party represents a broad range of views, and there are certain to be views expressed on this website that not all Democrats share. It's important to note that the views expressed by the users of this site do not represent the official position or endorsement of the Tennessee Democratic Party. For legal purposes, only the TNDP Executive Committee can make official endorsements.
2. Users of the site are encouraged to discuss points, hold different views and use this site as a forum to explore issues, candidates and action.
   
   Remember, our President said, "we can disagree without being disagreeable." It's okay to dissent and argue.
   
   However, this website cannot be used as a launching pad for defamations of fellow Democrats. That's just not the proper role for a state party website. TNDP.org exists to help and support ALL Democrats.
   
   Additionally, users who contribute illegal content, inappropriate material or language, personal and negative attacks - contributing nothing to further the core values and causes of the party or any member - will be removed at the discretion of the site's administrators.
   
   This site is also largely self-moderated - meaning that you're in control of your own words and we all help hold each other accountable. For instance, if you write a blog post, you are responsible for moderating the comments on that post. To change how comments appear on your blogs, visit your Settings page: http://www.tndp.org/profiles/profile/privacySettings
   
3. We prefer that you identify yourself using your real name. However, if you are more comfortable using a pseudonym, or just your first name, that is fine. All users are required to submit a valid email address in order to participate.
