During a recent appearance on Current TV, Elizabeth Warren used her ownership of IBM stock to prove once again why there is no comparison between her and Mitt Romney.
SNIP (video here)
When Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren was asked about her stock holdings specifically IBM by Jennifer Granholm, she said, “The IBM stock, yes, we own it. I’ve owned it since, it was actually a pretty modest investment made thirty five years ago I think, and the money’s been reinvested. If I were…

Good news for us=bad news for rethugs. Win/win!
(AP) U.S. factories grew in January at the fastest pace in seven months, boosted by a rise in new orders. And builders ended a poor year for construction by spending more on homes and projects for the fifth straight month.
The reports bolster other data showing the U.S. economy started the year strong, and separately, the Commerce Department said spending on construction projects rose 1.5% in December, the fifth straight monthly…

White House Proves GOP Wrong - Health Care Law Saved Medicare Money
The Obama administration announced Wednesday that the Medicare Advantage program, which allows seniors to receive health coverage through a private insurer, is enjoying lower costs and more customers as a result of the health care reform law.
Medicare Advantage enrollment has risen 10 percent over the last year while average premiums have fallen by 7 percent, said Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen…

The concept of a hi-def Tea Party is pretty humorous on its face, but now that the ambitious plans for a Tea Party HD cable channel have dissolved into a legal dispute among investors, it’s like please pass the popcorn.

I'll let you know. We need to get out and let folks know about these types of corporate power grabs. If they unions go down, so does the Democratic Party and then the rest of the workers of the nation. And that's NOT an exaggeration.
This is the 4th rally I've been to in the last month and I was pretty impressed with the size of the crowd for a Tuesday in this VERY red state. If it goes on there WILL be 15k because it's getting to the point where you can die on your feet or live on your knees bowing down to the corporations.
Thanks for the guidance, Donna.
I got back from the AFL-CIO rally about 2 hours ago. It was pretty good. Probably 1500+ at the rally and then about 300+ decided to go visit Bill Haslam. They FINALLY let us in after much waiting and chanting, but he STILL didn't see us. Hopefully, he at least heard us. We were pretty loud.
Very empowering.
Thanks Donna,
I would like to see some faces period in my county. I live in the heart of redneckville. I enjoy where I live, but wish there were more like-minded people here. Cocke County Democratic website has 3 members, and it doesn't seem to function anymore. I think it's been abandoned. Could be, you may get hanged for liking our President here... Lol!!
