Truman Day Celebration! at Knoxville Zoo

June 25, 2010 from 6:30pm to 11pm

This year's Truman Day will be June 25th at the Knoxville Zoo from 6:30-11:00. We had such a good response from last year that we decided to remain at that venue. The Zoo folks were great and the caterers were big Dems! We will have live music the first hour and our program the second hour. Our featured speakers will be our candidates, TNDP Chairman Chip Forrester and a special guest speaker TBA. Angela -- you're right about the August election. That seems designed to keep turn-out down. (?) In the long run it would be better to have elections take place together (local and national on same day) to improve turnout.
