30% Alternative Energy By 2020 Will Make Us Good Stewards in Tennessee

What's the matter with Congress? We waited patiently while they attempted to reform the energy industry but big oil and big coal decided they liked it just the way it was. In Washington they don't mind if gas goes to $4 a gallon and our electric bills go out of site. To all the big dogs in Washington we're just a bunch of fire hydrants. I would rather take my chances in Tennessee.

The Volunteer State is blessed with enough free wind and sun to set us on the road to 30% alternative energy by 2020 just like Colorado has chosen to do. There will be thousands of new jobs building and installing solar panels and wind turbines. The other southeastern states will want to join us once they see the benefits. Business will be better. The jobs market will improve and this little corner of our blessed Earth will be all the better for it.
