A Call for Democrats to Research Gubernatorial Candidates

This is a request for help researching candidates for the governor's office. It is vitally important that we have a candidate representing the bulk of Democrats and the bulk is in the middle, not conservatives. With help from those on this site, let's post each candidate's voting record, experiences, initiated bills, and pledged position on key issues.
This information can be found on some of the candidate's web sites or can be requested from the candidates' sites. There are also web sites dedicated to reporting voting records, such as Progressive Punch, which can be googled. It is also good to have those that have heard these candidates speak, to report what was said during those speaches.
Please add the information you find to this blog, to make it easily accessible.

I know all about being called names. I am completely desensitized by the wrig-wingers antics in their comments to my column in the Jackson Sun. BTW, I have one in there now that you might find interesting. Go the www.jacksonsun.com, then to voices and views, then to columnists, scroll down and you will find me. Leave a comment if you like.

I would also suggest we have Democrats who can research and comment on the GOP candidates, from the local level. For example, what *do* Johnson Countians think of Ramsey?

Thanks, Angelia. Info about Ward can be found at www.wardcammack.com. We also have our TNDP group, "Can you say, 'Governor Cammack'?", Ward's Facebook group, and Ward's Twitter account, @wardforgov.

Don't forget that you may also ask Ward questions at www.askwardcammack.com or by clicking "More" in the "Q&A" section on our website's homepage. Questions will be answered on the website, so check it often.
