Bill Haslam has been on a crusade scaring away small business and vital jobs for Tennesseans by claiming the state is $1.5 billion dollars in the red and more cuts need to be made to the state's budget. Haslam's analogy of 'Tennessee falling off a cliff' is not a good tone to set when it is necessary to help grow the private sector and not only inject stimulus but also inject confidence in our state's economy.

The mayor is either badly misinformed or outright lying. Either scenario does not make a strong resume for Bill Haslam to lead as Tennessee's next governor. Please help me in fighting this smear and false opinion earmarked to scare voters into believing that Mike McWherter is not ready to be Tennessee's next governor.
Tennesseans should know when they are being lied to and those who lie should be held accountable. Help me spread this message everywhere we can.
Thank you,
