Letter sent to State Senator Dian Black(Have ya sent yours yet?)

Dear Senator Black,

I am outraged that in 2009, after all of the pain, bloodshed, anger, and mistrust we have suffered in the state of Tennessee, and this country, that you, an elected official, entrusted with the common good of ALL Tennesseans would condone the vile racist behavior perpetrated by your employee, Sherri Goforth. When will it stop? How many more people will have to die? A "write up" is not good enough. As someone who has worked long and hard for everything that I have, I expect a whole lot better from "anyone" acting as a representative of the people of this great state be he/she Republican, or Democrat. There is a line in the sand Senator, and you have crossed it by condoning such racist divisive conduct by an employee of your office.

If your position is "oh she just made a mistake", you are not worthy of the position that you have been entrusted with. What Ms. Goforth did was about so much more than a racist "joke", it was a slap in the face of a entire race of people, the disrespect of the Office of the Presidency of the United State, and insight into what goes on in "your" office at the taxpayers expense.

Shame on you, Senator Black. "We the people" of the great State of Tennessee, are so much better than the conduct displayed by your employee, and condoned by you.

May God continue to bless our beloved home state, and all of us who "truly" love her.
