School Board Wilson County
After a long week in Wilson County we feel we have won a victory thanks to the school board members who voted last night to show the Presidents speech within the next 2 weeks.The members voted 5 to 0 after Ms.McMillan made a motion to show this speech.
We in the Wislon County Democratic Party & The Wilson Womens group held two rallys outside the school board office. The first one was on Tuesday morning then we held the second one before the school board meeting last night.
We had members of the school board to come out before the meeting and thank us for being there. Far as I know this is the partys first public protest and the outcome was very satisfing.
As chair of the Wison County Democratic Party I would like to THANK EVERYONE who called the school board and showed up to the rallys.
